Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprise and thrilling return, is a continuation of his legendary adventures games The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were created with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a longer time since he last fighting an intellectual war against LeChuck, his vampire pirate enemy. Guybrush’s real love Elaine Marley has turned his interest away from his government. Guybrush feels unfulfilled and confused, not having been able to discover his way to the Secret of Monkey Island. The hip and young pirates, led by Captain Madison are removing the old guard. Melee Island is now at a crossroads and Stan, a well-known businessman, has been sentenced to prison for “marketing-related infractions”.

Chat with old acquaintances as well as new acquaintances on the familiar islands that are that are now under a new and dangerous leadership. Then, take to the high seas and explore the unfamiliar and uncharted in your quest to get to escape from difficult predicaments. Brilliant puzzles, bizarre scenarios and destructive rebuttals are all that stand between Guybrush and glory.
