The Return To Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series the series’ creator Ron Gilbert that continues the tale of the legendary adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island as well as Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge created in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

It’s been many years since Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a war of words with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. His true love, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from ruling and Guybrush himself is lost and lacking in fulfillment, having not discovered that Secret of Monkey Island. Young, hip pirate leaders, headed by Captain Madison, have removed the older guard. Melee Island is now struggling and Stan, a well-known businessman is sentenced to prison for “marketing-related offenses”.

Chat with old acquaintances as well as new acquaintances at familiar places which are under the control of a dangerous new leader. After that, head to the high seas and explore the unfamiliar and uncharted as you work your way through difficult situations. Ingenious puzzles, strange situations and intense rebukes will be all that stands between Guybrush and the prize of glory.
